BMOC: Techy-Feely is the way to go for tech support on campus
Hey, Hey, Hey!! My concept of techy-feely has made the Chronicle of Higher Education. Okay..they didn’t ACTUALLY call is t-f…but the idea is there.
I love the idea of providing computer support folks who have people skills. That is what I am all about. When computers (or other technology) stop working, folks freak out.
Being able to try to help calm down both the technology and the person is very important. I’m glad to see others are taking the same approach.
