The birthday countdown weekend continues. Packages arrive from NY state. We think the envelopes contain dust and dirt to test the new Dyson!
Today, we ran around doing fun birthday things…like getting new bifocals! (well, some fun stuff, too). I just wish I had actually grabbed my camera because I had to pass up a lot of other shots that would be great P365 options like:
-the line of folks in front of the Apple Store waiting for the iPhone release at 6 pm.
-the birthday sushi (yum)
-the gaggle of bare mannekins at the Belk as they remodel. (spooky, really – I may have to go back there for that shot)

We pulled off a great surprise birthday party for the Senior Bird Nerd. It was great. She took a little longer to go get the pizzas so folks had to cool their heels a little while but all in all, it went well.
I have had my battles with DNS but I think things are going on the right path now. Stay tuned…I have files moved. I have a new theme selected. I have tweaked the banner images. I still have some other things to take care of but I need a compu-break.
I may not post for a few days but don’t worry – I am still keeping up with P365. I’ll get caught up shortly.
Keep those cards and letters coming.

We have a family of bunnies who have several little ones. There were a bunch of baby bunnies in the yard but all skedaddled as I got my camera so this brave bunny was the only one left.

It’s Summertime..and the living is …..thirsty.
We just fill up our recycle bin every week with all kinds o’ liquid refreshment.
I know that this photo seems like a repeat but I still get a kick out of the fact that sometimes Fidgert just has to run up and jump on your shoulders. He smells your hair, purrs and generally acts like he just likes to be up there. It’s funny
My godson’s father has two weekly shows on WDVX, a local bluegrass/roots/Americana station. We stopped by to visit the station for a little while this afternoon as we had a relaxing afternoon downtown. Then, the evening was spent with friends and the Squirrel Nut Zippers!! What a great ending to a whirlwind weekend o’ fun and festivities
