During a visit to a friend to help her set up a new wireless network and DSL connection, her daughters treated us to a SPOOKY haunted house. Ooooooo.

What used to be a lush green hill across from campus is not so slowly becoming a large desert-like environment. The fact that we are in a serious drought doesn’t make it look any better. Funny how when I was a kid, we loved to play in the “the gullies”, which was a construction site next to our house. We would spend hours playing over there. Now, I see construction and my heart sinks a little bit instead of jump for “play” joy.
