C’mon..how can I be everywhere and see everything. I mean, Yusuf in Hamburg, Spinal Tap in England, UB40 in JOHANNESBURG and Lenny Kravitz in Rio De Janeiro. Not to mention the special event in Kyoto and Antarctica. Whew.

What used to be a lush green hill across from campus is not so slowly becoming a large desert-like environment. The fact that we are in a serious drought doesn’t make it look any better. Funny how when I was a kid, we loved to play in the “the gullies”, which was a construction site next to our house. We would spend hours playing over there. Now, I see construction and my heart sinks a little bit instead of jump for “play” joy.
