Got a haircut today to get ready for the start of our Fall semester. There is something carthatic and corrective about a haircut. I don’t know what it is but even though things are going wild at work, it was nice to go out for an hour, get my haircut and come back to face everything again.
I can’t identify just what it does but it does lift my mood, give me a boost of confidence and makes me generally…well, just happy.

Whew..barely made the photo in time. Worked all day and then went to a fun dinner party tonight.
I love chalkboard paint. It is so fun…and certainly make use of it in our “central office” but we also never want to erase any of our fun stuff so how many actual messages are there?
