I am totally enjoying our smoke-free campus. But, as I move around the outskirts of the area, where the smoking areas are..I just have to notice how folks just sneak right inside where it says beyond this area. I see this guy almost every day..on his phone…smoking away…but not behind the “barrier” set by the ashtray behind him. We are funny, us humans, don’t fence us in!
(NOTE: I did blur his face on purpose..just for privacy)
After celebrating my mom’s birthday with her, my dad and grandfather (where I forgot to take my camera – sheesh)….we went for a walk outside since it was not too hot (hot, but not too hot).
Saw this funky version of Hollywood(?) Squares. With contestants ranging from Johnny Cash to Warhol, how can you go wrong. The missing one, I think, is Ray Charles from what I could piece together with that was left of the lettering.
Went to a wine tasting tonight and this was one of my favorites. Actually, about the only one I didn’t like was the white zin…yuck.
Seems like good words of advice….Look Out! Although, if I looked over to read this in the sidewalk, I might trip over something! Heh. Actually, I think this refers to a train line from the past…or the mountain down south of here.

One more for the office supply fetish…and the continuing saga of getting me organized and remembering what all I have to do. Found this nifty deskpad at Pottery Barn and just had to have it. I like the idea of the big notepad page for the week plus the smaller notepads at at the top for lists like groceries, call back, to do and misc. Downside is that the small pads are a little too close to the big pad so when I pull of the page at the end of the week, some of the other small pad pages tend to go as well.
Plus side, I have to keep my desk a little clearer to see the listings for the week.
