Okay…I’m letting everybody know that I am in training (well, have been a little while) for my first ever 5K!! It is in two weeks so wish me luck. I went for 3 miles today so if the race is on a treadmill in an air conditioned gym, I’m good! My goal is to not stop to walk for the first 15 minutes. After that, all bets are off. Since it is an Oktoberfest race…I know there is beer at the end. Motivation!

Well, you cannot say I didn’t warn you. We had the kittens’ rescuers over today for a little birthday celebration. With SEVEN (yes, 7) full videotapes of their antics over the first year, you can imagine that we have the footage for an entire kitten documentary (don’t worry, we won’t make you site and watch all of it…unless you really, really WANT to).
But, Chips did enjoy watching herself on screen a little bit!

Our last zinnias of the season…which work well with our Halloween decorations. I wish my camera could focus closer on things…I would like that macro option. I guess on the next one.
