Arrived at the hospital at 6 AM after getting up at 4:15 am to get ready and drive into town. It will be a long day but I’m sure things will go well.

Off to NC on the eve of my good friend’s surgery. I am confident things will turn out and as I was driving my safe travel “icon” caught my eye. It was the keychain for a hotel in Japan and my brother said it was good luck charm for us, the guests. So, I just put it in my car next to my bowling air freshener..that no longer really freshens any air but still looks mighty fun!
